One can tell where the loyalties of the author lie, when talking about CISC architectures as being inferior when in actual fact most RISC designs have been unable to surpass their performance. In addition it is worded in such a way as to make VLIW/EPIC sound as some lesser offshoot of RISC.

I think it was an Apple loyalist type article meant to justify the G4's existence --> useless
