I think I read somewhere that Germany is also planning to get out of nuclear power as well. Now If they are planning to get out of nuclear and reduce CO2 emissions, how are they planning to produce electricity? My guess they plan to make up any shortfall by buying power (nuclear in origin) from the French.... I'd be surprised if they do either. I bet Germany's unemployment rate is as much as twice that of the United States.
