Alan,

With that said, I would like to say that I find your right wing stance repugnant

Please explain how I am right wing. I am adamantly opposed to the death penalty. I am against the military in general and do not beleive the 2nd Amendment was written with large modern cities in mind by the Founding Fathers(ie I would change the 2nd Amendment if I had the choice). I strongly question the pace of globalization as it is occurring since poorer countries are becoming ever more poor, in stark contrast to what the economists claim of the free market beats all system. I believe in global warming and place the environment high on my list of priorities and would not drill for oil in Alaska; I would also have signed the Kyoto Treaty. I hold conservative views in some respects, as I am firmly opposed to abortion, but in no way could anyone(IMHO) label me as right wing.

I am indeed curious as to why you perceive me as a right-wing idealogue, because I hold no steadfast political persuasion since I try to judge each person/issue on its own merit.

Regards,

Brian
