With China's policy of one child per couple that is often the case. Some area's have a birth rate of 6 males per female. Toss in that AIDs is rampant in parts of China with little treatment and you may see their huge population start shrinking.

Most pro-choicers, including me, find that reprehensible and repugnant as well as using abortion strictly as a means of birth control. The elimination of wrong sex fetuses is not a common practise in this country.
