I can think of one recent example. Rep. Dennis Condit. No D after his name. I heard on TV (and read numerous internet reports and newspapers) many articles about the Condit/Chandra incident where no mention was made of Condit's party affiliation. Contrast that with Sen. Bob Packwood (R) from Oregon's news coverage.

Does this count? Or will you just deny it?
