ZH - OK and thanks for that but what I was really after was your view on business.

As it stands now my view is that companies are just planning for cash survival. People have started to question how some of CSCOs competitors are going to make it through next year!

All this bottoming and tech chart talk and talk of bubbles and inicpient crashes is only a function of a directionless market with no catalyst ie a full blown raging bear market. This is one and one of the biggest in history. That is why the people on the Clown thread appear to be having so much fun watching the misery of their fellow citizns losing their savings.

So what I was really after was you view of business. The market won't make a real recovery until business picks up for real. And why you? Well you were as I said one of the very first to pick up the signs that something was seriously wrong and it was here on this site.

For what it is worth I do not think there is the least sign, not even the tiniest sign that business is doing anything else except getting worse albeit a little more slowly.

I too fell for the 2H recovery but no more. I personally doubt we will see a recovery in 02. You need a massive turn around in confidence and you need an administration that looks like it wants to do soemthing about the economy and it doesn't seem to me that is the case.

Therefore in the hope that I am wrong....

..what's your view/prgnosis on business?

Best regards,

L
