Jim,"..there will be some great opportunity for small start ups. Likely formed by laid off large server OEM employees."

According to Pete's estimations, CPU cost is a tiny fraction
of the total server cost. Given ~$200 price tag on recent
CPUs, what would motivate a startup to start AMD-only
servers? Is it the level of support they can get from AMD,
or design-by-example, or better industry-wide
standartization and compatibility? Level of OS support?
Availability of Athlon-optimized drivers?
Long-term stability of CPU supply?

Regards,

- Ali

P.S. Florida was great...
