I haven't read about the case in depth, but on the surface (given the article you cited accurately presented the issue), I would have to disagree with Bush on this one.

Disagreements happen within the conservative ranks all the time. It just goes to show what a diverse group of people make up conservatives.

I've posted my views regarding affirmative action here before, and they certainly are different than other conservatives.

Unlike many Democrats, Conservatives aren't afraid to take different positions and argue there merits with one-another. It doesn't demonstrate weakness of unity, (such as the major liberal media likes to spin it), it demonstrates strength of character.

"Affirmative action" is simply one of the areas in which you will find people on different sides of the fence within the conservative ranks.

A post from last night.This will assure GW for a second term.A few more "will of the people" decisions like this and he'll have it the bag.We voted for a demoncrat and didn't even know it..What two party system.
