Still plenty of earning announcements this week.

biz.yahoo.com

biz.yahoo.com

biz.yahoo.com

PSUN, NTAP, IMAX and EGGS report this week. I'm sure some of your guys favoriets are in there too.

You know, if I were king of the stock market world, I'd make 2 fundamental changes right off the bat.

1. ALL companies report earnings on the 1st SUNDAY after the end of the quarter. This never-ending earnings season just keeps the market volatile for no reason. Stringing it out only benefits short term traders who move from stock to stock .... at this point for at least 6 weeks out of every 3 months. I say get it over with as soon as possible and quit jerking around everyone's life savings.

2. Each stock should trade at 1 price all day. Think about it -- does your grocery store or gas station or dept store change prices every 5 seconds based on supply, demand or bullshit ? Of course not ! I say set the bid/ask at the open and keep it there all day. If you don't like the price -- tough shit ! Wait till tomorrow or change your price ! Markets that provides instantaneous price changes only benefits MMs and short term traders. It screws long term investors. You have a problem with that ? Welllllll you shouldn't because that's how mutual funds operate. One price per day.

If anyone ever wanted to get the greed and manipulation out of the markets, that's all they would have to do to get rid of 80% - 90% of it. And we all know why no market would adopt these changes.

lol

Have to admit I have no clue how to play these Bio's.

Well BGEN got a little momentum from earnings and $52's
and "speculative" trgts of $68...

BGEN
siliconinvestor.com
(But remember the days here when it was a 3 day short ?)

PDLI short (long too for 2 days , but I was not letting it get past $60 again....it was hammer time if it did on that flat guidance from their report<gg>)

PDLI
siliconinvestor.com

IMCL may have noticed was bouncing off of $42's
but a short near $48

so right here and right now
is as good a place as any to see how they trade
off this latest swoon and sentiment and
get to know them better .

Don't have to trade em as much as just follow
their progress, and then one can add the biotechs
eventually more confidently to ones trading
rep eventually.

PDII made almost 5pt bounce on friday...which has been one
hell of a trader in here...after that Pfizer news then came
the Bayer news and gave PDII another migrane , but PDII's
PE not astronomical compared to some .

Bios are interesting company's and great traders , but nothing matches them if you catch their tops and bottoms ....PDLI's 4 day swoon before earnings
was a goldmine.
(but nice to have ridden PDLI up to $90's in june
and back down to $50 here <ggg>)

*As much as that PHSY was a great short in the healthcare
it has been stubborn as HLIT trying to scratch and claw it's way back up.

But anyways prolly best way to get to know the bios
is just follow a few , and hopefully
they start making sense, LOL!

We know Fred like MYGN , I like to trade PDLI ...
NiceWitch loves her IMCL , etc .

So altogether we can make some nice winning trades available
to each other in days to come.

I do remember mentioning IMCL to Jane recently here near $42's again , and sure enough her strategy has worked twice really nicely off those levels.

IMCL nice tight little wedgie in here now :

IMCL has been one of the best Bio traders,
for sure.

BTK been in a perrilous swoon :

What I can't believe are some of the price targets these things have been getting ...but analysts these days <gg>

ADRX popped almost 7 on friday on FDA news
siliconinvestor.com

fun one to watch/play maybe.
