Examples of hate radio also are present every day on Limbo's show, but the more extreme examples are found among regional radio hosts ... some of whom compete with Limbo for listeners and, as such, bash more than Rush does to capture the true right-wing whack-off audience. Re: "Successful radio commentators such as Rush Limbaugh are more in tune with a larger share of the public then left wing ideologues like Larry King" and "With radio you have to listen ... think." Wrong again. Reading a book requires deep thinking. Listening to the radio or watching/listening to television requires light thinking. Again, read Marshall McLuhan: "Understanding Media." Also, it would help if you would abandon your "Democratic arguments necessarily fall short regarding content" schtick. That's condescending and does you no good in terms of credibility.
