What a lovely moment you described. Thank you. I consider moments like that close encounters with the deity. They stun us, remind us of the beauty and power in small things, of vulnerability and incompleteness in ourselves. We went to out cottage on the lake today and rowed in the rain, drinking red wine. We found a stand of ripe wild blueberries leaning over the water and picked a few cups for pancakes tomorrow. This is the stuff of a poem I'm writing this weekend.
