Re: "Many union workers I've seen can't even be forced to put in an honest days work."

Yet another "Big Business ... love it or leave it" union basher. Grab a number and get in line behind the others, dipwad.

Re: my use of the word "forced." Talk to the non-union workers at IBM between the ages of 45-60 and ask them if they were "forced" out of their defined benefits pension plan into a "cash-balance" plan a couple years. (Hint: They were.) Then ask them how many tens of thousands of dollars each them lost so IBM could become "more competitive." Then ask them whether they voluntarily agreed to the pension change. Then ask them if they would have been better off with a solid union contract that would have prevented such a pension grab. (I know; I went through similar where I work.)

Why must I have to make this case every week to people who don't know which end of a hammer to use? Are all Republicans stupid or just the union bashers who think with their asses instead of their brains?
