I lean toward the bearish view, too. LaVerne Olney made an excellent observation about the VIX in August of last year, however.

It could definitely happen again, with a technical bounce in the Dow, S&P and Naz here. On the other hand, it's a very different market now, so I wonder. Traders are a lot more wary -- and weary -- now.

Volume seems very slow today, and my orders aren't getting filled. I wonder why.
