Yes, Chris has already convinced me of the error in my logic. I now support group marriage. Stability, emotional and otherwise, is not a reasonable way to judge. If it were, I think we'd be seeing a lot more gay marriages and a lot less straight ones. Which I wouldn't mind.

WRT your conversation with Charley, I don't see Dems as being any more "religious" about their beliefs than Repubs. Americans in general are fat and complacent.
