What is driving the decline in business is overcapacity. It is not just an inventory glut as some would have us believe. It is also a capacity glut. There is no way of telling how ugly things can get.

As to why should JDSU sell, it could be that they run out of money and are unable to raise any further money, even in the junk bond market. And as to who wants to buy, well, I told you that my scenario was a rather optimistic one!
