Good for Gore. He has a lot to offer. But I don't think he'll be nominated again because he had his chance and if he couldn't beat Bush even in his own state the Dems will be very wary of picking him again. I like Al and he has a brilliant, caring mind and heart but he's also got some deep-down self-esteem issues which he doesn't need to have plus he doesn't communicate well enough to some of the people he needs behind him, and who should have backed him if issues and qualifications were the main reasonings.

Nevertheless, sometimes losing makes you a better stronger man and fiercer competitor. Look at Clinton, Nixon and Gore once before after his dad lost. They all lost and nearly gave up but came back stronger to go all the way. Bush Sr. losing might have also fired up GW and Jeb. I know I'm always at my best and strongest after enduring a defeat. It clarifies things. You either give up or you fight harder and wiser, getting past the fear. Like the second time sky-diving. Gore, Kerry, Edwards all strong contenders. We'll see who else joins them. A lot of big Dems are going to want to run against Bush, that I know. He'll be extremely vulnerable even within his own party maybe.
