Thanks for being a blessing and being available to be used for Him.

I agree with you that this thread belongs to the Lord and those of us that visit here, verbally or not, are just laborers in His service, and of course need no recognition. To be effective, groups need a leader, a focal point to suggest the direction the group goes and I thank Him that He has asked you to fill that position.

I'm afraid I don't have the reference you're looking for -- there's one in Joel 2:23. Another in Jeremiah 5:24. But not the one that refers to the latter day rain being greater than the former. Like you I can remember the comment, but not where I saw it.

You said you don't see an easy way out of the "problems" you have been facing. Let me suggest one possible place to go -- I have a friend who started a thread called "ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE"

:-)

We need no specifics because the Lord knows them, and we love to talk to our Lord about friends, family members, and "not-yet friends".

You fall in one of those categories -- and we all love The One who Loves us.

the brevity of Jabez's prayer and the brevity of the description of what God did for Jabez is interesting.

Just makes you want to know more doesn't it?

Haven't seen the book on that yet, but someone was telling me about it.
