That's just more lies from the bashers. Rambus is innocent, and since they will win in court, nothing could be more obvious than that they don't have to report the bogus fine.

And anyway, the judge is in Virginia, what's he gonna do? Seize their headquarters? Clearly the California government is going to back Rambus on this one. And California has way more military installations than Virginia.

I do not believe that is correct that they will have to expense this this quarter. It is a contingent liability and I believe the correct procedure is to post a refundable bond pending the appeal.

Perhaps some lawyers here know how this is done.
