There's always renting, and as the resale market slows, lease rates drop. Reentry can wait 'till the bubble runs it's course. But you DO have a good point in that the residential RE market AIN'T the stock market, it's a hell of a lot less liquid (which also makes it a hell of a lot MORE risky in the event some liquidity problems show up, IE, default issues at the GSE's for example).
