Dear Tench:

What are your numbers?

However you do put forth the effort, so:

Found these entries around AMD's and Intel's Q2 CC:

Well, now you know where I got the 27 million number from. You stated a number close to that one in your own post. Don't you believe what you say (yes, I know that is a loaded question (you answer "No" and I win, "Yes" and you lose). You do not need to answer it)? BTW, 7.3/21.9% = 33.3 million (Intel 26 million) for Q1, and 7.7/22.2% = 34.7 million (Intel 27 million) for Q2.

The $217 million is Intel's GAAP Profits from Operations (before interest and taxes) from their Q2 report.

Now you know where I got my numbers from.
