It is interesting to see the DDR did not seem to significantly improve the Athlon performance, and I also note the P4's really do appear to be outgrowing the Athlon in performance as the speeds increase. Is this a confirmation that the real P4 advantages with RDRAM will show up in the 2.0 Ghz plus speeds? I guess we will just have to wait til DDR P4's actually do come out and revisit the issue then.

I hate to rehash the recent court issues, but i found the Wall Street Journal report to be the most balanced one i found to date. Here is the link:
