when the Wall Street gang returns in early September, we
are hoping the volume increases at least as much as the number of
investor lawsuits.

LOL.

Hi Susie -- I enjoyed reading that post.

But keep in mind -- the US stock market ALWAYS recovers. Its just the individual stocks that don't always recover.

Also keep in mind -- what's the definition of recovery ? Recover from where to where ? NASDAQ 5000 is probably 10 - 15 years away. But the bottom -- is less that 12 months away, IMO. I mean, even during the Great Depression it took the stock market between 3 and 4 years to bottom. So its reasonable to think that this time around the bottom will occur 18 months - 30 months from March 2000.

I think we're on the last leg. I really feel that this week was the first week where the NASDAQ dropped because people are actually GIVING UP on tech stocks. Think about that. The NASDAQ dropped from 5000 to 2000 and its taken 16 months for people to start throwing in the towel. Never under-estimate the influence that human psychology has on the markets.
