Hi FLINT -- I made a big move to cash in April 2000 after the HUGE sell off and bounce. I was pretty sure, but not completely sure the party was over. The second peak of the double top at 4000 in late August 2000 was the signal for me to move completely to cash. If that wasn't enough, the day CSCO closed under 50 was the obvious sign that big money was selling instead of buying on the dips. I made a small move back into equites in late Oct, expecting a bounce. It happened but didn't last long. I stayed in -- loaded up some more in late Dec and got out for good in mid Jan 2001. I think I still have some junk, but I'm basically 90% - 95% cash.

The only way I try to make money in this market is verrry short term trading. I'm waiting for the day when it is clear that the NASDAQ and S&P 500 50 dEMA crosses over the 200 dEMA to indicate the resumption of the bull market.

Regards,
Chris
