The only rip-off in California was by Grey Davis, whose understanding of the energy business is about as bad as yours and AS's.

Energy companies haven't had an adequate price increase in 20 years. I worked at a gas station in 1980-1981. The cheapest self service gas at that time was +-$1.10 per gallon. Most of that year self service gas was $1.24 per gallon. I filled up this week for $1.22 per gallon.

Are you making 98.4% of your 1981 wage/rate today?
