Hi Chris, If something's going to give, it will be valuations, IMO. But, here's one of the reasons why I'm mildly bullish for the next few weeks:
Reinsurance company Max Re Capital (Nasdaq:MXRE - news), for
instance, the only offering on tap for this week, postponed its IPO by one
week, most likely to come up with a realistic price for its shares, market
watchers said. It probably will be the last deal before the market's
late-summer break, they add.

So, IMO, liquidity will improve short term due to NO IPO deals.
And, with being closer to the real bottom, sellers may be out for now.
And, the checks are in the mail, people will spend, some.
We could have an up August.
We'll see.

But, if something crazy happens short term, like war, or Hong Kong crashes, then we're going down, IMO.
And, I do not like the Sept/Oct time frame, with possible warnings coming, and especially if they start up IPO's, secondaries, and convertible deals hot and heavy in Sept..
Just my opinion.
Good luck.
