Mish, you've done some great research on Max Pain for this week. It's pretty impressive, but you always seem on top of that.

Futures are down a bit tonight, probably on the heels of the ORCL news on Friday. That could give people a chance to make an entry for a bounce. We could even see a drop to the 1940-1945 level in the AM before a strong bounce, maybe even led by the software sector. I'm looking at buying some QQQ Aug. 40 calls for around 1.00 or so if I can get them. We'll see.

I believe it highly doubtful that any bounce goes beyond QQQ 42.50 or so. Even with the oversold conditions in the market, we are not in a position to rally above those levels, IMO, based on what we're seeing in the technical indicators.

Mishelo, BTW, both ORCL and SEBL were downgraded this morning (per CNBC). FWIW. Steve D.
