Re: don't suppose you have the insider knowledge to tell us which areas of research Intel does Hey Pal, This was the claim I was responding to: INTC investigated and actually ran wafers in their .25um processup in Aloha. Results didn't justify the change ... INTC has done their homework on this, just like they did on Cu. From someone who has, in the past, claimed a close association with and Intel and its process technology (and is one of the more committed Intel longs on the threads). If you don't think one review 2 process generations ago was sufficient, then you should short Intel, don't complain to me.
