<Does a Canadian really understand the term "free" as you bow & fetch for the queen & give up your firearms?>

Now our resident bigoted redneck of GPM is insulting Canadians and their heritage and culture.

The ditch you are digging, bigoted redneck boy, is getting deeper and deeper.

I take it that you would conceed that you are not aware of any subsidies to the Canadian Softwood industry.

With regard to the actual stumpage fees charged, you may or may not be aware that there is a lot of territory in Canada which may be classified as forested but would be marginally or not economic to harvest.

Do you really think that you or some bureaucrat in Washington is in a position to dictate whether or not a legitimate local government can tell Johnny Canuc to go ahead and try to make a living off of some very marginal forest land?

I would agree about free when you say we bow and scrape to the Queen and give up our firearms. But only in part. Bowing and scraping to Q. Liz was not the problem. She would rather we would have kept our guns and ammo. She did not think we would shoot across the pond and hit her Corgis while aiming at a moose. Nope, it was Napoleon and his troops who tore our bone apart on that one. It was mousse not moose he was concern' wid. The sheer vibration of all dose anglo dirty-dirties exploding at dem Rideau moose while he was trying to get his mousse baked is wat irked our prime minestre dere. Of course da quebec FLQ wid dere dynamit, de hunter and dah angler ov dat udder province keep his gun, as dey ignore all dose anglo suppression laws anyway, or know who to bribe to get permit. Jes we disarm dose who named smith, jones, tonto, or who don't unnerstan, "arret der, wid dah blunderbus, qui vive la?"

Firearms suppression is a purely fr. socialist paranoia.
