"Abortion: Male Coercion and Irresponsibility: Consider this: By vesting all reproductive responsibility in the woman, a pro-choice male creates a situation in which men can easily rationalize their irresponsibility toward women who choose not to abort. Plausible? "

Plausible, my tush!!....to suggest that men can now rationalize their irresponsibility toward pregnancy since abortion is legal is nothing but stupid......men didn't take responsibility before abortion was legal.... There was more pressure for shotgun weddings in that era but men still had a cavalier attitude sexual responsibility. Every shotgun wedding I knew of only lasted a only a short time before the woman and child was left behind to live with her parents. As I said before, recall all the GI's coming home from WWII and the Korean War bragging about the children they left behind and then tell me they are more irresponsible now. I'll grant you that some men may now feel they have more sexual freedom due to legal abortion and feel they have done their duty if they pay for the abortion but back alley abortions were always available anyway. So this attitude has been prevalent for eons and this is where I think families and especially the churches have failed because they have failed to instill a conscience and a sense of respect toward women and ultimately toward any child they may father.

All the other anecdotes from your literature just shows what kind of slim we're dealing with......and that's my biggest gripe with the pro-life movement......You've done nothing visible to teach men to have more of a conscience but you sure as hell don't mind beating up the conscience of a pregnant woman. Did you ever pull the man escorting his girlfriend or wife into an abortion clinic aside and try to convince him to marry her and take care of his child....??? I have a suggestion for you.....why don't you hold your next rosary meeting outside of a singles bar instead of outside a PP clinic.?? On a personal note, do you practice birth control??? How many children do you have and how long have you been married? Also you in favor of capital punishment? I just want to see how good of a catholic you are....
