Excite UK Selects GoTo as Exclusive Pay-For-Performance Search Provider in the United Kingdom
Agreement Significantly Expands GoTo's Reach Into the U.K. Marketplace
PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 2001--GoTo.com Inc. (Nasdaq:GOTO - news) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary GoTo eMarketplace (UK) Ltd., the U.K.'s leading Pay-For-Performance search provider, has signed a deal with Excite UK to provide its relevant search results to Excite UK's one million users in the United Kingdom.
Under the agreement, the top two results from GoTo are displayed at the top of Excite's search results page. GoTo results are also available to other Internet search sites powered by Excite. Excite UK is a joint venture between Excite@Home and British Telecommunications plc.
