I saw that post, and i must admit it does concern me. I could see INTC moving to acceptance of DDR earlier than previously stated, it would likely result in increased sales in the short term. If i have this right, RDRAM would still be the preferred memory for the P4's, but it would stimulate buying by people presently worried about future standards. Short-term, it would also increase RMBS' revenues as well, but the market would likely sell off on the news. The real item of interest for me will be when DDR and RDRAM are able to be compared directly on similar platforms.

How about maybe they reached a deal with Via for a Q1 2002 release.
