His tendency to claim technical expertise on things without bothering to respond in detail to critiques has nothing to do with how he runs the thread. From what I've ever seen, *he has run this thread more than fairly. And as far as being thread moderator, that's what's important. From the point of view of how the thread is moderated, his technical opinions don't matter. Did you notice that I insulted him but I'm still posting? Some "dicatorship". The guy's fair. This is a hard thread to moderate, it's one of the most active in SI. If anything, Mani has a light hand.* Edit: Enough said, I'm going to leave this alone, it's off topic as hell. I'm just glad as hell that I'm not moderating this thingy, I'd be pissed. -- Carl
