Marcos is being political-general not personal. He is really not that bigoted about timber barons. As a matter of fact if one of those porcine timber barons offered him a job as woods boss he would leap at the chance to rip off .. I mean produce product for his esteemable cracker munching employers. Wouldn't you Marcos? Marcos? But political defender of Canuckiana that he am, he will come out flaming at the slightest hint of a narrow minded unilateral chauvinistic big business encroaching on the rights of fair and honest doughty little beaver-land tree killers, the better-morality forest mavens of the true north strong and free. It was that Alabama address that made him see red and paint the loggers down there with a slightly flag size #9 fence-whitewash brush. Knee jerk reflexes of the freedom marches die hard. Maybe he thought you were related to George Wallace Logging Co. He was part black ancestry too, you know.

I don't know what the reference to pointy hats was all about. Do loggers wear hats like that down there? Up here we just slap a beaver on our head to keep the flies back and swing away with our double bitted axes.
