Lots of relative bearishness (perhaps "doubt" is the more apt term) around this morning. Must be time for a wee bounce. My crash window is as wide as ever, nothing has changed this week, so longs will continue to be light and tight. If we do get some up, hopefully it will be enough to get good short entries. One thing to keep in mind here is delta hedging. We are just above levels where the heavy puts will kick in. If they can not bounce this thing, then we will see accelerated selling. I see CIENA has learned well the magic of Pro Forma reporting. No matter, earnings are positive when the market is headed up and negative when it wants the other way. Trading news is something only the most rank newbie would try. Of course, you could buy Maria's book and find out how it's done. -s/-bg
