Hi
School starts August 29. The only permanent position offered at my children's school this summer for the coming year was for a 4/5 split- and I did not feel qualified to take that on. I can either student teach at grade 4 with my son's teacher, who is also a master teacher, or I can wait and see if a permanent position opens up. I'm not sure what I will do. And I continue to take classes because I am going straight into the single subject program after I get my multiple subject credential. My son starts middle school in two years- for grade 6, and I will go there with him as a teacher in his school for 3 years, and then move on to high school. I am waived for the Praxis exam in the single subject of biology, so I will probably go as a biology teacher. I know I would be good at that. I am pretty sure I could pass Praxis tests in English, social studies and French, so I may add those in the next three years- as each single subject added makes me more employable.
