It was the SVG scanners that Intel is the sole user of, that were delayed. The other scanners made by ASML, which AMD uses, are shipping.

And yeah, I know that SVG is now owned by ASML.

In 1999, AMD was showing showing electron microscope photos of chips with transistors with 50nm gates FABed at their submicron development facility. They did say they used a 193nm stepper they were evaluating.

They can probably make them in volume when they ramp their .13 SOI.

That was 2 years ago.
