Did you happen to see the technical analyst with the posh British accent going over MSFT's chart on CNBC? He took a rather bullish view, seeing a long-term H&S pattern. I was persuaded because of the accent. In the event that it failed to rally, the alternative view for the future was a double bottom. Or that's what I think he said. I saw it in passing.

I work at Crazy Eddie's during the day, and every TV was tuned to CNBS. Every one on the sales floor, including me, is a full-time trader. It's how we make our living during the recession, when consumers aren't buying anything.

One can focus on any section of the chart and see what one wants to see. I turned the chart sideways (in moving a TV on the sales floor back into storage) and saw Bill Gates' profile. What that means I don't know. Would he be capable of such remarkable manipulation of the price, to have the chart show his profile? I think he might.
