Your subsidy is causing the guys -the Cairns Group for example- who produce the farming stuff competitively out of the markets.

The Florida orange farms only exist because the US slaps $700 on every ton of Brazil's organge juice. Look the beet sugar in Europe. They keep out the sugar cane out to protect their farmers. (11% of the voters for the CDU in Germany are farmers)

It cost -in 1989- USD10billion dollar just to store the surpluses the EC keep. Common Agriculture Policy they call it.
