Unemployed commit most of the crime? Anyone ever hear of white collar...corporate crime? Probably not, since it gets much less media exposure than street crime...wonder why?

I was talking about street crime. I think there are more street crime then white collar crime in terms of number of criminals and number of incidents (although maybe not in terms of $). Even if this isn't true I don't think most white collar criminals make anything close to minimum wage so its not really aplicable to the "living wage" debate.

Yes, lots of folks would love it, but it ain't going to happen ... we live in a very competitive Darwinian survival system as well, after all. <g>

Some folk seem to have trouble factoring this into the equation, and wonder why at some point history always decides "off with their heads". <g/ng>

Meanwhile, as you say, we have walled communities and blame it on the water ...

I believe we in the top five regarding incarceration rates in the world, so obviously we are doing something wrong and or we have a lot of rotten apples in the barrel....
