Well I wonder at the facts.
from today. seattle.bcentral.com
State gas prices beat national average

Gasoline prices in parts of Arizona finally dropped below the national average after riding above that figure for weeks.

AAA Arizona today reported that the price averages for Phoenix, Yuma and Tucson all fell slightly below the national average of $1.38 per gallon for unleaded regular, and the statewide average matched it exactly.

Scottsdale's average of $1.40 per gallon was only slightly higher.

Ever try flyng ......USair, united american, and delta prices are within dollars of each other. Look at gas prices on a corner with 4 dealers......all either the same price or a penny apart......I don't call that competition, i call it collusion!
