Ggamer,

The problem with briefing.com is that it's far too brief, to the point that it's nearly meaningless and sometimes misleading.

Reports Q2 loss of $0.32 a share, $0.02 worse than the Zacks consensus of ($0.30), vs year-ago earnings of $0.14; revenues rose 428.6% year/year to $334.23 mln vs the consensus estimate of $328 mln; no forward guidance issued with report.

Is this right????

According to the press release, the company lost $.33 per diluted share, not $.32. Zacks did indeed publish consensus estimates of a $.30 loss.

Also according to Zacks, the year-earlier earnings was $.17, not $.14. But those earnings excluded one-time accounting events. Because the $.33 loss includes them, it's like comparing apples to anything other than apples. That's where briefing.com is misleading. I suspect they are doing nothing more than picking up the data feeds we discussed a couple of days ago without comprehending any understanding of them.

I don't know what the consensus revenue estimate was, but the year-over-year comparison of revenue is essentially correct.
