Actually I'm just basing my theories on the obvious: timing, ability, motives, importance of motives to the perpetrators, desperation to succeed, desperation for Gore not to succeed, similar patterns from past history, tightness of inter-relationships as well as revelations which have come out in California matched against totally inaccurate statements Bush-Cheney + Co. made at the time. Also the timing of the end of the gouging, statements made by Bush energy advocates confirming motive, fears of future rivals and basically the Machiavellian rule to crush your opponents while they are most vulnerable, that is ruthlessness. It's the motives you really have to look at, and they're so obvious, multi-layered and compelling as to make the theory of an accidental three-pronged energy shortage at that very spot in time ludicrous, or at least outrageously coincidental. But an event like this gouging does not happen by accident, though weather and other factors can effect it to some degree. Nor does gouging suddenly disappear by accident. No, this time the "conspiracy" if you will is not only real, but worked, then was quickly withdrawn once the danger of a Senate investigation suddenly appeared with Jeffords move. I believe you will soon see that the Jeffords move will be the most important political event of these four years. It will not only stop many of the grandest B-C abuses of power but will end up bringing them down on charges much-much more important than anything having to do with Whitewater, Irangate or even Watergate. The charges will be the deceitful, willful collusive use of controlled energy supply/prices as a poltical weapon and also a means to bilk US and global consumers out of hundreds of billions of dollars. If you want to live in denial go ahead. But soon you won't need me to educate you. It will be on front pages everywhere within 3-6 months time. The steps are already being taken to bring this gang to justice, and it's going like clockwork. for the same reasons that the conspiracy worked, it will ultimately be exposed, because unlike the S+L debacle the opposition is 100% not involved, guiltless and has everything to gain by taking the case all the way to the inevitable, indictments against members of the White House, energy CEO's and other related operatives. It's not going to be easy getting them to tell the truth and disclose evidence though. That will have to be dragged out of them by a combination of the Special Prosecutor, Public Opinion and The Press. My prediction, Cheney will be the first domino to fall because he more than any of them is directly responsible. His departure might also be a last-ditch effort to save the Bush White House, just as Agnew went before Nixon and was replaced by a benign moderate Ford who lessened tensions and promised to pardon the guilty president at the end of four years. The investigation will also finally pierce the veil of the supposedly non-partisan National Petroleum Council which we trust to advise the government on statistical matters. It's already been found they've been lying and are thereby no longer non-partisan. But since the NPC is operated by energy CEO's (including Cheney) it's role in all this goes much further. The NPC in fact may be the staging ground itself. At the very least the culprits are all going to be forced to explain why they lied and deceived the American People about energy supply, amounts of crude and gas in Alaska and the Rockies and other excuses used to explain the gouging crisis. Bush's present Energy Plan is filled with such lies, exaggerations, and cover-up of true intent. Even the Teamsters have bought into it, believing their promise that 700,000 jobs will be created when 50,000 is more accurate. Their goal is simply this. 100% deregulation of the energy business along with 33 billion in tax breaks and the ability to go anywhere and everywhere without following any current environmental impact rules. If that's what you want, support them, if not then write your congressmen andor get out of the way. Energy will be the #1 issue of the next three years. Not where to find it and how to make it cleaner but how its producers 100% colluded to deceive and bilk the country (and the world) for the purpose of ravaging the environment for decades to come. But this will not stand. Dozens of big heads will fall, maybe even hundreds, before this is over.
