ABN adds Apple, lowers Dell EPS est. (AAPL, DELL) By Emily Church
ABN Amro is starting coverage of Apple Computer (AAPL) with an 'add' rating, setting a 12-month, $25 price target on the shares. The brokerage told clients, "we think Apple's valuation is attractive and the company has some latitude since it controls its own product cycles." At the same time, analyst Robert Cihra cut a penny from his per share estimates for the third and fourth quarters for Dell Computer (DELL) to 17 cents and 19 cents amid the soft PC market.
