It figures. When you dems can't explain your lying you fall back on the Clinton, "the definition of is is." defense. Do you really figure it will work better for you than it did for slick Willy. Frankly, if 90% of the people can't recognize something as beautiful, it isn't that beautiful. I would be willing to bet that 90% of the men who compared Roseanne and Vanessa Williams would have no problem. Why is it that no one but you can see this mystical beauty? Is it there or is it a lie. Prove me wrong.

Check out this month's issue of Nat. Geo. The ANWR's beauty is more like a Mira Sorvino rather than a V. Williams. <g>

And where do you get that number of 90%...who told you?

After seeing the pics in the NG, I think its an incredibly beautiful place. But that's not why it should be saved...beauty or a lack there of should not be the primary criterion. The ANWR needs to be saved because of the animal species located there and because the ecology is fragile. And oil tends to kill when spilled.

I have shown articles with quotes from people who have been where the drilling is to take place, and none of them have described the place as particularily beautiful. Show me some quotes from people who have seen the area to be drilled who can show the opposite.

I have posted links before. Here is another. Enjoy.

Guess?????

I am not guessing that shipping from Alaska is a challenge nor was I guessing about Prince William Sound and the Exxon Valdez. Here are samples of what lingers and some links for your reading pleasure.

A sample quote from the people who work there.

With the lack of monitoring, and the resultant leaks, almost every well house in Prudhoe Bay is now truly a Documented contaminated site.

There are dozens more attached to these links. Let me know if you need further "proof"
