Yes, I'm familiar with it (and even if I weren't, it has been explained half a dozen times on this thread over the past week).

I disagree with your interpretation, however - for a variety of reasons. One would be that the K7 is generally considered to have an extremely well-balanced pipeline as is.

... bottoming out with the P4, its 26 stage pipeline, and truly awful performance on some software.
