Intel probably dumped a load of P4s on their favorite OEMs who are dumping them into the retail market. AMD had to follow.

Nice try Jimbo but you're getting a little too obvious.

OT Jim and Tushar, RE: Real estate

Real estate in Silicon Valley has dropped *a lot* in one week.

The homes I've been following are down approx 7% in one week. Something scared a lot of sellers in the past week. It's a significant drop in such a short period of time.

I wonder how long the commercial real estate leases will remain this low? It would be nice to lock-in on these rates, $2/sq ft, in 6 months.

...1 yr ago..........5.65 / sq ft
...6 weeks ago.......3.95 / sq ft
...currently.........1.90 to 3.50 / sq ft

Regards,
Amy J

You have a real reading comprehension problem. Those are AMD prices going into the dumper - NOT Intel's prices.

And in the meantime Intel is introducing a new speed grade, the 2GHz, that will claim the high end.

AMD - Only 600MHz behind
