Do you have anything posted on trading chop?

Seems to me the common advice of choosing an entry and using a tight stop is bad advice for such conditions. Most likely to end up with many commissions, little comish.

Teresa,

Thanks for the reply. Believe it or not, I just discovered the messages function! I'm finding lots of various replies to previous posts that I never knew existed. Also, I now know where the PM's are that people reference.

I agree with what you have suggested in your other posts regarding KISS. I think the rather rangebound market we have been in is what causes people like me to start seeking other patterns / methods / systems etc. The fact that the range continues to contract causes even more frustration and makes one question thier approach. Sometimes, we need to step back and realize that it is simply a directionless market, so stop trying to swing and trade the range, or stand aside. This I am going to do.

Once agan, we are at that inflection point. I guess I have learned something since I am staying flat until it resolves, rather than trying to hit it in advance and watching the market reverse. I simply can't play the bounces so I will wait for the trend to develop.
