About six out of 10 handsets sold are now 2.5G, a faster-than-expected penetration rate considering that domestic mobile carriers began to implement 2.5G services from May this year.

Didn't Jorma announced the grand Nokia plans to enter the Korean market? Should a chip order be forthcoming from Finland in the immediate future?

Color screen handsets in Korea--I saw offerings from Samsung at its hospitality tent in Sydney almost a year ago. They had working models hooked up to a limited beta 1x network. The colors were bright and well differentiated. The limits on the display were clarity of image (from good to poor, depending on the model) and, of course, the size of the screen (some 2" by 2" and smaller from there). Especially if the specs and execution have improved in the 12 months since those models were available, you could definitely have a satisfactory video-graphic experience on a streaming video or game; size would still severely crimp the browsing experience. With BREW and whatnot, it's in the hands of the software developers and the engineers to increase screen size without unduly increasing size of form factor.
