I agree. It's a beautiful thing. And it's nice not to see the VERY uptight frustrated women who wanted to work but "couldn't" because women didn't do that- they got married and volunteered. Even though we lost a great pool of volunteers when we "allowed" women into the workplace- on balance that's been a great thing. Except maybe for children. I wish children had better care. But when I remember the mothers of my childhood! EEEEK On my street in Pomona California there wasn't "quality care". Moms would lock the kids out in the morning and clean their houses. They were rabid about tupperware. They let the TV babysit. They had not BOOKS in their houses. They were scary.

I prefer now.
