sure, I think it's great market for doing just that if you want to sit on what you are holding while you wait for it to get going. Frankly, I believe there are much better areas to put ones money if you take the time to look. The following stocks are some that I have held, and still do after the market bottomed in April EXPE, NVDA, MOVI, JNJ, MCK, PRGO there are more much more out there.
